How much dofollow blog comments links help your site??

If many of them are niche specific, they can help boost your site. You just need a lot of them Having a mix of dofollow and nofollow would also be great, and make it more helpful if you keep within your niche. I think that is the most important. Having other methods of linking as well could also help, as relying only on blog commenting would not get you as good a result as it would with a combination of others.

do follow links are the ones to go for, they will follow from there site to yours proiding you with a backlink. Make sure you find relevant sites to your niche or business though, if you do it will be a better quality backlink.

Dofollow is ofcourse better than nofollow, but you should always create a mix like Phoenyx mentioned.
However, it's hard to find quality high PR blogs that allow dofollow...unless you build some sort of "relationship" with the owner.
Good qualit blogs prevent spammers this way...

Talking about "relationship" sometimes it is very hard if you are the first time give comment on that blog, the owner will take some time to approve your comment, he or she will evaluate the comments before accepting you become part of his community.

Personally on my own blogs I always accepted peoples comments; if they were of good quality. I don't care about the backlinks as long as it made my content look good and loved.

yeah, it is best when you optimized in google. but yahoo allows do follow links and no follow links.

exactly. as long as you have links and you generated good response. there is a greater chance that it will help you.

Both are good but do-follow have more importance because google only takes do-follow links and other hand no-follow is good to give traffic to your site.

Depend on the quality of where you put the backlink on. A lot of people make a mistake and wasting their time by spamming blog page/post that has no Page Rank and a lot of outbound link from other spam comments.

I prefer to comment on blog post that related to my niche, have good PR, not abused by spammer, and then post fairly long and related comment. It takes time but I’m sure the quality is even better than making thousand of spam comments.
