Thread: Can I use only article submission for link building?

Well, what I know that article directories can give natural back links to any site if your articles have quality. Because, if the article has quality then they would also be published to other sites and from there you can get multiple links and it may keep multiplying as well.

I dont think you shoul use article dirctories only. Use diffrent ways for getting backlinks. Social Bookmarks are naturally too. Facebook and Twitter is also ok. Press releases are very good too.

about that multiple links I have no idea, but yes, you can surely get good backlinks from article submissions

It is one of the usual way to build links. But I don't know if the effectivity of this technique is very reliable.

You should not do ONLY article submissions to article directories because you need have diversity of links.
You should make a plan.

Like do article submissions + social bookmarking + press releases + blog commenting (preferably on high PR links) + video submissions to video sites + document sharing sites.

Yes i have. The site was on the first page in google but a few times later you loose more and more places. Exceptions prove the rule - you can have luck with just one method of link building. But must respond to the risk?

It is possible to achieve high rankings with just article submissions if you do it consistently and do a lot. But link diversity is a good thing and if you can get links from other sources it is great. Still, if you just want to keep producing and distributing articles, I think you can still achieve top rankings if you onpage SEO is good and if you follow solid keyword research practices.

Yes article submission will give good back-links, i agree. But there are so many link-building techniques to do. So don't rely only on article submissions. Do different techniques to gain quality back-links...

No dear friend, you wont get multiple links, its not as easy as u think. link will be removed while republishing n you will find a different link there.

Back links coming from different sources are considered good with compare to coming from only one source. So try to get links from other source also.

yep, you can use article submission for LB, but don't just stick to it! Do also the other submission like SB and PR submission and don't you also forget do the blogging(Link Wheel).

Although you can simply stick with article submissions, why limit yourself? Use a range of methods to get the best, most sustainable results.

No it is not. Done ever stick with one method to get ranking in Google. I must say make your link building as diversify as possible. This is the only best way to get ranked in Google.

You can use article submission as one of the methods you use for back linking purposes. If you use it alone you may need to worry in long run.

Yes, you are right, article submission is one way to link building but there are also others ways so you have to use all of them so that your links would be natural.

After the Google Panda updates, article marketing is much less effective than it used to be. However, I have had pretty good results with it and continue to publish several articles on the major article websites every week.

As others have already said, the most important thing is diversity of backlinks. Yes, it can be argued that certain types of backlinks are stronger and carry more weight than others, but diversity can't hurt.

You lost places in Google because you did it wrong way, if you do article marketing right way you can reach till first page (may not be first place) , without difficulties...

This is only method which never died and hopefully will not die ever..

It is very effective technique even after panda update.. People who know effect of this technique still using Article marketing a lot

You can but I don't think you should only rely on one link building method alone. Social bookmarking is also a very good way to build links and aside from getting direct links from social bookmarks, they can also be used as 2nd tier backlinks to power up your article links.
