Checking Manually through search engines is the best way to get know where your keyword is rank because i use some tool the are showing my results wrong.

I use tools4google for checking my position on search engine.

i usually use scroogle but when it is down i switch to whatpageofsearchamion . now i use the search checker if imtalk.

I use SEScout.com, never tried something else. I guess that is a good thing

Nice tool. I could suggest renkerizer.com. This is another free tool to watch your google positions

After Panda/Penguin updates, I guess many such rank checking tools are not working well with Google. Already I used 1000SERP checker tool, but now I check it manually. But it really takes time, sometimes Google wants me to verify as human with captcha

You Can Check The indexed pages Of Your Website or Blog On Google.Just type site:your domin name in google search box

You can use "Search Engine Ranking Checker" tool otherwise check manually by entering the keyword for which you optimize your site.

"Rank Tracker" is the best tool to check the keywords position in search engines...Where you can get the different regions of search results...

Try googling "Free monitor for Google" and download the small program.It is really nice.
