Thread: What is Internal and External links?

Hello,
Can anyone give me some idea about this Internal and external links? Any help would be highly appreciated here .

i will conclude that into simple answer.
internal link - link pointing to your own site
external link - link that pointing to other site (not your site)

Internal links: links on your website pointing to other pages on your website
External links...what fran said.

Not to be confused with inbound links and outbound links.
Inbound links are links from another site to yours.

External link is the link that points another website.

An internal link is one that goes to other areas within your site.
An external link is one that goes to another URL outside of your site, or links from other sites to yours.

Internal Link – An internal link is a hyperlink that when pointed you to a new page or part, of the similar website or domain.

External Link – An external link is a hyperlink that directs you to a fresh website. Which is not a part of the same website or domain?
