Thread: How long is a sitemap approved with Bing ?

I submitted a sitemap to Bing webmaster 2 days ago. But it's status is still pending now.
Anyone know how long does Bing approve a site map ?

It usually takes 3-10 days before the sitemap is approved, and another 2 weeks for the content to actually be indexed. Bing is very slow, and you probably won't see any data for anything at all in bing webmaster tools for the first month you have it set up.

I think there are some monkeys checking sitemaps manually, before they got approved. At least the Bing Webmaster Tools is getting better on bigger steps than Google's.
