FB search vs Google search

So guys what will happen if Facebook will enter to search engine market by launching their own search engine along with Facebook. Millions of people are already addicted to FB so this will take off big chuck out of Google for sure.

I have mixed feeling about FB entering to search engine market. It will take a chunk off from Adword advertisers so AdSense publishers will be effected too. Less advertisers and more competition for ads. I'm not a big fan of Google domination but if they go down majority of AdSense publishers will go down along with Google.

Also How good will be this personalized FB search for web sites and webmasters. Right now we target Google and we know what to expect. What we will do with FB search ?

Very good question to which I dont know the answer to. Do you think having a vanity url will help if you are already using FB?

It would never happen, and most likley would put an end to facebook.

Well there is a time for everything. Nothing last for ever. I don't think anyone expected any other site would get more impressions per day than Google. But that was couple of years ago and Facebook has already done it. Years ago Yahoo tried to buy Facebook for something around 2 Billion $$ but today Facebook probably worth 2x than Yahoo.
