    Foreign search engines, worth trying?

I only know of one foreign search engine, and that's China's Baidu search engine. I want to know if it's a good idea to try and rank on another countries search engine to hopefully get my site out to the whole world if possible. Or is it just pointless since most countries probably have Google anyways?

Just focus on Google, Bing, and Yahoo and that is enough. No need to spend time on any other search engine.

When I was in Russia for a trip, I used Yandex, to browse for daily information like newspaper, weather condition and so on
I chose as language English, but the search engine would prompt me either total Russian content or a hybrid between Russian and English
From this point of view, when you search something on Google, no matter the language you selected, the content are surely offered in that language
