I used to think that keywords in the domain name was a good thing and that it helps seo but I understand from Salman that google can penalize you if you have keywords in the domain name. So I think its not that important
Just take a look at it ...
I will be viewing this video in a few minutes, just waiting for it to load. I do thin it will be of great help to me. As I am still learning how to do seo efficiently. Will give you feedback soon salman.

I have seen it salman and it is very helpful.
I think it either has to be in the domain or the website title at least. Well its like anything, you don't go into a shop thats called Fruit Bowl and be sold a load of DIY tools. You just would not walk in or would you click on a random website with no reference to your actual niche
well he explained that situation very well i was wondering too
keyword density is very important in : domaine name, link, title, description, content, every where !
but with good content.
i had gaming website like GamesWala is pr4

Some say exact match domains are not helpful as before the latest Google updates but I am on the other side,I think they are still a great help for ranking specially if the keyword has 1000-1500 searches a month.I have lots of micro niche websites with adsense and they are all on exact match domains and climb to page 1 very quickly.
So well said BigDim.. I agree with him because I bought a microniche website from him and I am very happy.
Everything is as important as what your competitors are doing. Marketing is all relative. If your competitor has a keyword-based domain name that falls under google guidelines, chances are that you will need to do the same or better him in other categories to outrank him.
No, it is not important now because after Google EMD(Exact Match Domain) update Google does not consider keyword match domain in its algorithm.

i like the above video it's very useful information share by members i also want to know about domain with key word, here is some of those examples
Google-search engine
yahoo-search engine
No any keyword available in domain
just make brand of your domain
which is easy to Remembere for user
It is the most important or very important,
sounds like i am answering an old post .. lol !! well as matt hav suggested if it requires than take it there is no issue if its natural but wait at here .. are you going to buy it for spamming and for quick seo purpose than i will suggest you to better generate pages instead of putting keyword inside your domain name ...
Not anymore, branding is the key.
EMDs still work it's just little more hard work on than before. Before you can rank without EMD with unique content without anything else. Specially for low competitive keywords. Not anymore. But when you build a good link profile and add so unique content it rank over an none EMD domain.
Having the keyword in the domain would give you a boost but not for long. You need to fulfill all the requirements of SEO in order to come to the top.
If you are having some reference to the product in domain, then visitors are most likely to click on your link. The keyword in link will appeal the visitors to check it out.
