yea, Google trends are good to get an idea about popular keywords within a time period

The tips for good keywords are as bellow :

1. Keywords you select should have at least medium popularity on search
2. The competition of the keywords must be medium.
3. Use the keyword research tool for searching the keywords.
4. The keyword must be related to your website service.

i am trying google keyword tools also chking google webtools and i also tried traffic travis long time back and forgot now will try again :P

All are free (?), Other tools are based on google's. The only thing is that the other tools are auto analysed and using the tools above (1 and 2) requires manually calculation and analysis. But I found these 4 tools enough for me. :-)
