Thread: What is the best tool for Keyword Research?

Keyword research is the most important part of seo. I use “google keyword tool” for keyword research. If you have any other tool for keyword research then please share with me.

Wordtracker and keywordelite are two very popular.

In that case my opinion is Adwords tool Google trends, Google insight better than other keyword check tool.

WordTracker is good but I'd agree with the above - go straight to Google and use their keyword tool.

Don't pay too much attention to the 'competition' that is only determined by how many pages show for that keyword - instead use the CPC column to determine the competitiveness.

Use google and your own noggin. Research what are the top or most popular queries on a particular item. An example, you are selling internet security products. You would research, what are the top 10 reasons people search for internet security. Search for what is being mentioned in the news about lapses in internet security (phishers getting paypal account data). Then you continue to dig deeper until you come up with something that doesn't show up under your normal GKT searches. With this type of search, you are working with an emotional buyer and you can approach them with a solution.

What you are looking for are themes within your niche that do not show up well in Google's Keyword tool or any tool based off of GKT. The same product is great for many problems, but you need to address the buyers fears directly.

I use Google Adwords for searching keywords and I think it is the best.

I really enjoy both Market Samurai and Keyword Canine. I use them both and both are beneficial and serve different functions.

Market Samurai is great but if your looking for a Free option Google's Keyword Tool works well too.

I use market samurai. It's an excellent piece of kit.

I would have to say - YOUR BRAIN :-) cause you need to think what a person would type in...after use any tool you would like as a guide.
