If you're promoting a product you can follow this sequence.
Day 1
Introduce yourself. Tell them why they're
getting the email from you, where they opted in, and give them a link to your free report, ebook, video, etc...
You also want to softly mention the product you're promoting,
at the end of the email preferably in as a p.s. This would be a soft pitch.
Day 3
Use this email to give value to your subscriber while letting them know that they can solve their problem by checking out the product you're promoting.
Check the sales letter of your product and find an enticing bullet point.
Let them know what their problem is, but not what the solution is. Leave that to the product you're promoting to give them the solution to their problem.
Write some quick content with a link to your product at the end. The email doesn't have to be long. Just a paragraph or two.
Day 5
This email is going to be a hard pitch.
Talk up the benefit statements of your product.
You're not giving away content in this email, just asking for the
sale.
The purpose of this email is to push the subscriber to make a sale because they have seen the product more than once and if they haven't purchased it yet they probably need that extra push to make the decision.
Day 7)
This is the last email in the series and this a followup to the last email. This will be another hard pitch. Remember to state the benefits of purchasing the product and paint a picture of how their lives will be after they have the product and solve their problem.
Put your own sense of humor and personality in your emails. If you have purchased products from emails you have gotten from other marketers, go back and find those emails and look at the way the email was structured. Figure out what made you make the purchase and how you can do the same in your emails.
Hope this helps.
Any professional web designer can design a good custom email
News letter for a little amount. Free templates may not fulfill your requirements.
No i haven't but there are many online sites which might provide free templates. Though better to get it designed.
You can find free templates on many sites and good format and procedure has already been explained by Treym.
Check at freshmail.com/blog/ for good examples of templates
I have some templates but some other time. Thanks
