Thread: Stumbling for hits

Hard to believe that searching on this forum and there is no titles related to stumbleupon.

I have used stumble upon for a while and I love it, however its sometimes like a lottery some posts you submit gained 100-1000 hits maybe sometimes you get about 10.

The great thing about stumbleupon is you can choose the interest and tags to go with it which should hopefully make chances of your website/blogpost/article being stumbled. This method is good for gaining some traffic by people looking for their interests which is good, this is what you want to create a community or sales.

Who else uses stumbleupon to plug posts?

Not used it for a while but I think it works better for some sites than others. Entertainment and picture-based sites work really well.

Yea I always used stumble upon, either when I am bored or advertising purposes. It is a great website, but I have not had to good success with it.

yes i agreed with that, and it was long time ago i sign up the Stumble Upon, many of my site is seem like more written article than a picture post or video embedded

I haven't try using it but all will matter is your content if it's interesting then probably you'll get hundreds or thousand hits. When i have some time i will also submit my content to get some traffics.

I think most of you are right on the picture and movie thing especially if its in the public domain ie the news. The most I made was over 1,100 hits on a news story I posted from my website, was a nice little boost, other than that my hits tend to generate over 100 at least on most posts submitted onto it

Well, it seems submitting a news is effective as many people seems more interested in that Niche. Well, i will also try the effectiveness and hope so to get tons of traffics from stumble.

Yeah I have also used it for gaining traffic and creating professional network. You can get couple of good hits by following and making communication with relevant people to your business. it has good popularity among audience including normal users along with internet marketers. It is the place you must have used for promotion of your business or to share information wit other people.

stumble Delicious digg etc. etc. man spent whole life in it but not get much reward

No Friends, I don't prefer to use stumble upon.
