Thread: Is Facebook a challenge for Google?

NO they both are 2 different niche website . both work differently .one is the best social networking site and the other is the best search engine ..!!

Both works differently One is the top search engine in the world .. and Facebook is the top social media website . both has their different work to do ..!!

If we talk about google+ social networking site then definitely facebook is challenge for it.

Some "experts" were saying that because of Microsoft's stake in FB, that big bar may be a B! bar. I'm hoping, wishing and praying that it is since my sites rank well in B! If this happens and it's a powered by B! situation, THEN I think there is some competition to be had since all the millions of FB users wouldn't have to leave to G for organic searches...

This would be awesome for all that are relying on G for organic search rankings... my .02 (half of which is speculation...lol)

I think yes will be the answer. The same as Bing will soon (2-4 yrs) match up to Google for search queries.

google wants more market share
will be harder for everyone to do something - means more spam and more spam, new social communities and so on
