First ever forum you have joined ?

DevShed is the first ever forum I have joined. It was in my first days as a trainee web developer. It didn't take more than 30 minutes in my very first day at work as a developer to understand my basic knowledge of PHP and MYsql was not enough for projects at office. I didn't want to ask anyone so was keep searching in Google till I found Devshed and couple of other php forums.

I have learned a lot about PHP from that forum. Still I think it's the best forum for PHP. Funny thing is my post count there is less than 200 posts and that for 8 or 9 years !

it was a local Russian forum in 2006. International forum I joined first is digitalpoint, then warrior and then lonelyplanet thorntree (I haven't good activities there) and at last IMT

As I recall my first forum was the KompoZer forum. KompoZer is the freeware WYSIWYG web editor that I use to build my static sites. I learned a lot about html and css on that forum. That was a great advantage when I started to set-up various CMSs.

I have joined a local forum, friendscorner.com at first and then i joined DP. However i must say IMTalk.org is the one and only where after joining i am enjoying. For me at the moment, it is the best forum for learning and sharing.

I actually started on a site called retail sux. was kinda poetic at the time. I then moved over to DP, posted about 3 times there I think, and then vanished for a while from the forum scene. Got back into it end of last year, beginning of this year on warrior forum, v7n, and went from warrior forum to here at IMtalk. Strangely, I haven't been back to warrior forums for a while.

For now, I am still on IMtalk, V7N, and irismvc forums.

I joined DP, NP and SP same time in 2005 I think When I wanted to learn more about AdSense. Then I didn't use any of those forums like one near because of office work. That was a one wasted year.

I joined indifun but that is a chat community...not a forum. as I remembered, I think I joined DP(on personal basis...otherwise I had having account on lots of forums...just to promote the business)

I live in Indonesia and the first forum I joined is Kaskus, which still be the best Indonesian Community Forum. If you asking me about the first internet marketing forum I joined, then it was Digital Point. But now I’m inactive on DP and prefer Warrior.

first forum that i joined was yahoo forums. Its a forums of all bloggers in our place. that was back in 2007

The first I ever joined was GFY, in the good old times...I mean really old times, when Altavista was the biggest, most popular search engine, Google didn't even exist and dial-up was the fastest internet connection.

Good question let me think... I believe it was Associateprograms.com or Im4newbies.com. Two good forums, and associateprograms still very active, the other not so much.

I joined a local forum at first and then DP. After joining IMTalk I never used the other forums. DP has huge traffic but it was worthless and the mods rarely respond to your problems. I didn't get a polite reception in DP but here it feels like home.
