If you are still trying to stick with pure SEO only you will be in trouble. Your Google SERP is not the only way to get traffic now. Not anymore. Even to rank in Google now social signals are a big factor. Google+ probbly going to be an important pointer for Google ranking in future. Also search engines can't ignore other social signals like link popularity in FB etc.

Nice study, can give some insights what is going on and what to look for in your test cases.

Anyone new to SEO can use those on-page and off-page signs listed in chart as a basic reference. It has almost everything you need to check when you are promoting a web site.

great information, buw we dont know how exactly google algorithm about page rank and search engine rank. google+ just give some few visitor in our site. cmiiw

They would never tell how their algorithm work but you get an idea. Google+ will be an important fact in future IMO.

Great information. I hope the G+ does account for something in the near future but as of right now it is not helping my blog a whole lot. Not even Keywords are targeting what I want but backlinks with the keywords as the anchor is helping more than anything. Maybe as time goes on Google + will will increase the rank of the page.

User Mallotom made a coment on another thread (here) that made me think back to this chart. We were talking about if Google would be overthrown. They mentioned what a game changer it would be if facebook was in the search engine game. Maybe thats why Google gives so much relevance to facebook. Keep'em happy!

It means after Google+1, Facebook shares are the next important thing. My site has 800+ Facebook shares so will it improve SERP of my site.
