What's lot of traffic? Can you give some numbers? How many visitors a day?

Why do you need a number. It's not like you are getting same number for each day. Also traffic you get depends on facts like your post count, how catchy your signature, How valuable your posts etc. You can get around 100 visits from a big forum per day or even more.

warrior forum is a great community and so is imtalk. I think the combination of posting here and on the warrior forum should get anyone some decent traffic at the least. Of course you have to make helpful posts as most people have stated in this thread.

The best forum site that I got the most traffic from is WARIORFORUM, as long as you follow the guidelines and do not spam your sites will get traffic from there.

be ready to help people in the forum providing useful info when needed do not forget to include your signature at the end of each post, with time people in the form will trust you, before you know it you start getting traffic from the forum. point of note it does takes time

It may also grow as your reputation there is established
