Thread: How to Monetize Youtube videos?

Had you any success with monetizing Youtube videos? I know many people who are using Youtube for making decent amount of money.
What is your thought on this issue?

Anyways coming on track ... To be frank, I hardly upload any videos to my youtube channel ! so I didn't went that deep into monetizing them

I do as well. Actually I prefer YouTube for just that, unless I am reading about something in a tutorial that I need a visual explanation for. There are vids on a lot of sites I frequent, and that makes YouTube a little null and void when it comes to tutorials. So, all I do is open YT, pick a playlist and get some work done. (When I am not listening to my own music on HD that is.) Its especially useful if I can't find the music I like in stores here. I can listen to it on YT.

Oh I see .... Actually I heard something of that kind for the first time ! That is why I raised the question

I listen to a lot of music our radio stations don't play, and stores don't stock. If I'm not ordering the music in online stores, I am listening to a playlist on YouTube until I can buy the music. That being said though, adding an advert to the vid could be a good idea, or following many of the other methods people have been talking about. But for me, I would rather just use it as a means to market, linking back to a company site etc. where visitors can then buy the product shown in the video. lol Maybe I'm too much of an old school marketer.

I have seen many ads too on youtube videos. Anyone can answer this question, please?

From what I can tell they're localized to your location. I only get ads from SA. They're either shqwn in the same way they would be seen on TV, giving you the option to skip after 5 seconds, or they are added as banners that you can exit out of under the video. Yeah I read it right and I do the same stated by Phoenyx, when you get out of studies you'll use youtube only for bg music while working, if you want to experiment few things with music will send some trance tracks then you can feel the difference in working like that

These days am finding it hard to learn anything being busy writing articles and playing video games every moment am having freetime

Youtube monetization is actually a good trick. Since you you're getting into photoshop these days do record your photoshop working and upload them to youtube and regularly update the channel for better subscriber rate and views which are essentials to earn via Youtube
