Thread: The greatest sin of a IM beginner

If your marketing is based around being cheap, you will lose.
Your profits will be low and you will attract the lowest value clients.

Just as importantly, thanks to Google, You can easy find 100 people doing whatever you do, for less, in just a few seconds.

So take care about quality,good advertising strategy and expecially for fresh ideas for Your business.


ashamed to admit that I committed this biggest sin in the past, not once..

On a similar note, a lot of people begin IM wanting to invest as little of their money as possible and expect huge dividends in return. Alas, this is not how it works. As with anything in life, you have to spend money to make money - the Internet is no different.

Or by doing as little as possible and expecting that everything will automatically fall into place for you and you make loads instantly. Its just not the case IMHO. It takes more than money to be successful in IM, it takes a lot of blood, sweat and tears. If you do things the wrong way, its more often than not mainly tears. Its one of the most rewarding professions, but one that one has to work the hardest in, if you look at how much it changes over time.

I think the biggest sin for noob im's is that they give up too early without doing the hard work. Cheap is fine in the beginning if you do the hardwork. Many start out with no budget, so you have to leverage time. After you make money, then you can leverage that and use less time by outsourcing. I've seen this change over time in my short IM "career".

Also, always moving on to the next 'shiney' thing without giving the previous thing a good try. Then saying IM doesn't work.

All legit advice. I once saw someone sum up IM with the words "it is a hard way to make easy money". A little paradoxical I guess, but holds a lot of truth.

Cheap is not always bad ideas. As long as we know what we are doing and the results is great, so it doesn't matter if we do the "cheap" things. Why we should spend more money if we can do it for a cheaper price? Stick to the process and get more persistence, no matter it is cheap or expensive. As long as it is the right steps, we can make money on this way.

i agree with you on that... cheap is not really bad as long as you know what your doing, you do your homework and you do the research.

To start without money might even be the best idea. Starting with 0 money and making 10$ in the first month. Reinvesting the 10$ and make 50$, Reinvest the 50$ and then make 500....

I think the biggest sin is to ask other to do the work for them - for example on forums I see a lot of posts asking how to do it and you can see from what they write that they haven't thought about it and just want to have a guide to the "easy" money.

So situation is simple. You alvays have a one form three sotution to be rich

1 - noob - You have TIME, but havent MONEY and KNOWLEDGE
so, go invest Your TIME for KNOWLEDGE that will allow you to earn MONEY

2 -starter - You have some(little) MONEY, some TIME, some KNOWLEDGE(about earning for life day by day)
go invest part of Your TIME for KNOWLEDGE about inesting MONEY

3 - begginer - You have (a lot of) MONEY, no TIME and (some) KNOWLEDGE
invest part of YTour MONEY for (more) KNOWLEDGE about MONEY/ life/ hobby/ ideas how to get more free time etc


As You see recipe is easy as hell but it is theoretical concept! so remember: "no work, no cakes" - earning "easy" money always cost a lot of TIME, KNOWLEDGE and.. a lot of MONEY.

Three steps above everybody can make in few months of life, but the secret is REPREATING step3 for while life

Sure you can, but the more you can invest, the more you can make. And as a beginner it is hard to start and be successful right from the beginning so you might pay for learning first.

"NO ACTION TAKEN" was the most dangerous n huge sin when involve in the field.

The biggest sin is expecting something for nothing. Everyone wants the most money the fastest way with the least work. It's just not going to happen that way.

There's another big sin: overloading.
I think everyone has experienced it at least a couple of times, you engage in multiple project and end up pulling out none of them.

I see people falling into bad or no key word research...

also keep in mind that if you keep doing what you have done you will get the same results.

IM is simple, just don't confuse that for easy...

Yes under valuing is one of the biggest sin which will ultimately harm only you. And things like that 'taking no action' 'thinking too much' are not sin; they are mistakes.
