Thread: Reasons fo failure in online business

Well, I have marked some reasons of failure.

The main thing is our mind diver from one method to another method of making money online which is not good, we should focus on one only. For example, if you decided to earn from blogging then try your best to earn from it. It is true that from blogging people are earning thousands daily, you can also earn.

Other thing is not doing your main work and giving time for finding work more and more, if you are working as a freelancer and if you have some projects then your first duty is to finish these projects within time period so that you would get money from the client. I have found that I don't finish the work and I keep looking for other works also. it is not good.

Most of the time I pass in reading emails, visiting forums, blogs for finding work it is not good, I should do my work first and if I have free time then I should give time for other kind of work.

I can understand that, but there may be many other reasons as well. If you look at competition on the net, its high stress and fast paced most of the time and its not always possible to do as well as you would like to, depending on the amount of competition you have. A lot of the time it can be about your own personal work schedule. I see that a lot when I need to recruit others. if i feel that you have too many other projects, I would look at someone else, because I need you to be able to concentrate on what you are doing as well as give the time i need you to give to the project without too much stress about other projects you may need to work on.

another big reason is quiting it you have no sucess you need to keep on tryinng

Other thing is to maintain discipline, tame table, dedication, inability to understand scam etc..

Lacking of dedication to a business is the main reason to get failed.

Lack of investment is one of reasons for failure in online business. I am not saying to invest a lot but invest little amount to get money. By proper plan and investment you can also gain the dedication of work.

According to me the main reason of failure in internet marketing is just because of your mismanagement and lack of interest. If you do not update your business profile on daily bases than it gets out of market. This thing makes you failure in online marketing trend because running with the market and new things is an essential part of it. I think you got my point.

FOCUS the most you wanna go through and stick to it.If you wanna get money from affiliate just focus to it, don't even bother about adsense or cpa or other else, if not you can have overload information and in the end doing nothing at all, i've been there and done that

I think if you do not update your business and knowledge than it does not run for a long time. So, you must have to be updated and innovator in sense of bringing new changes for your customer is the only way to live long in business. Doing quality work and focus on customer benefit can reward you in a positive sense.

I think the biggest problem is hardwork and discipline. Since it is flexible hours many people misused it and becomes not efficient.

agreed with you andyteh... is not easy when dealing with discipline issue, for example if you are hardcore gamer, you need to discipline yourself not to play game while doing IM work, same situation with if you are hardcore chatters, hardcore facebookers, and so on

There are many reasons for failure, many of which are mentioned above, however most people can succeed online if they have the motivation and persistence.

Because working online has a low cost to start it often creates the mindset of, I'll give it a go and see what happens. There's no real commitment. Also people often don't research opportunities enough and the web is full of get rich quick schemes and other totally unworkable plans.

There are genuine opportunities out there but you have to look, research and plan, always remembering it takes time and hard work.

Find something genuine you want to stick with and then ignore all the "GRQ" marketing noise and hype and you will succeed.

There is a ton of competition and the field is always evolving. Sometime it is hard to catch up or to focus on one thing. We all wish we had more time to work on more projects, but maybe it's best to set your goals for one thing at a time and strive to reach them.

In my opinion the biggest mistake one can make is...quit !

Because of lack of business and marketing knowledge people approach their online efforts completely wrong and end up making diddly squat.
After months or years of trying the wrong things they think making money online isn't possible and stop putting effort into it.

I agree that setting goals is important, but the majority set the wrong goals to begin with and never know what steps to take next.
Persistance and dedication is not enough...

Im in IM for two and a half years, and the way I see it my biggest problem is imagination, you can work all day and still you wont earn a dime. I think imagination is the key.IMHO

Completely agreed, have to focus mind on one thing from being diverted...

I think one has to be really focus and determine to complete the task on hand. Otherwise, it is very easy to get distracted and not succeed online.

Secondly, many people do not take the trouble to commit themselves to promoting their online business. You need to persistently work on your business to begin seeing good returns. You can never harvest where you have not sawn. That's the natural law of harvest. There is nothing like making quick money. All the powerful business we see around us were built over time. You need to devot your time and other resources to promote your business consistently. A temporary defeat should not derail you from continuing to build your business. You also need to develop your marketing skill if you are to successfully build your online business

In point per point, I can list several reasons why people failed in online business.

1. They didn’t know what they want. People should have the emotional dream as their reason of doing internet business.
2. Not focus in one method until they earn well. This is the hardest one especially when they’re seeing people’s earning screenshot from certain method.
3. Afraid to invest. This is real business and your big competitor is spends their money to keep their business on the top. You need to invest too!
4. Visiting warrior forum too much. LOL! Looks, a lot of WSOs with great title on there. It’s a poison!
