That depends upon your blog popularity and stats. Its better to fix the price yourself after viewing your current stats of your blog. If the advertiser is not satisfied with your price then you can reduce price as a discount.
You can't price per client as that is unprofessional. You need to base price off traffic, pv per user, average time on site and also where on the site the ad will be placed. Example: Our header ad is $3500 a month on homepage, but our header ad on our stories are $6400 a month due to the time spent and traffic on story pages vs. homepage. Also, does your site cater to a specific demographic? If so, that can increase price.
Usually "big" advertisers won't advertise their products or services on "low profile" blogs and websites. They want to get to the maximum audience possible. Price of an advert depends mainly on the traffic that your blog receives. Also it depends on the demographics of the traffic. US visitors are priced higher than other visitors in general :)
you can get roughly between 2000-3000 usd
It really depends on:
1. Niche of your blog
2. Amount of traffic
3. Quality of traffic
Without these details it's impossible to try to guess how much your blog can sell ads for.
big advertiser can be assumed same as advertiser on the television, higher rating means higher paid
You can use blog advertising. it's effective and good. even my blog receives high traffic. Niche Bloggers — Blogging,Technology and SEO is my blog.
if your blog is popular, getting advertisers is not a big task, so first try to make your blog popular, at least 3000 unique visitors a day.
I get 10000 vistors to my biggest blog and charge 2000 per month on front page
