Thread: 3 Reasons Why You Would Never Make Money Online

What I would share here may seem insulting to some of you, but since I believe it would also benefit a lot of you I am going to dive deep.

I would dare say that 95% of all people that strive to make a living on the net are completely wrong when it comes to what exactly they are going into.

They see the net just as an opportunity to build a site that would provide them with PASSIVE INCOME - I really enjoy that cliche, and then do nothing.

Here are 3 reasons why, in my view, most people would really never make a dime on the net.

1. Reason # 1

Most people simply don't realize that there is actual WORK involved, which simply cannot be overlooked.

It is true that the amount of effort and the cost of establishing a business online is a lot LESS than offline, but still devotion is required. The sad fact is that most people simply cannot escape the mentality of the 9 to 5 routine. And why is that so?

Because no one really reveals the shortcuts to making money immediately on the fly. I wouldn't do it either, no one would. Why? Because no one wants to nourish a competition for herself/himself.

Add to that the general perception that you can make money without work on the net, and BAM - you would never make a dime. Period.

Yet, I would share here the real path where you should start if you would ever make a business ONLINE OR OFFLINE - IT DOESN'T MATTER!

And why would I do that? I would do it because I have gone through that path myself, I know it TAKES TIME, MONEY AND EFFORT, I know that before anyone gets to understand the BIG PICTURE, I would be MYSELF way ahead, still.

And here comes

2. Reason # 2

Most people, I would dare say 99% have no idea that making money online means in reality LEARNING MARKETING. Most people have no idea that the difference in making money online and offline is the technology only. IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES OF MARKETING AND SALES YOU WOULD NEVER MAKE MONEY ONLINE. PERIOD!

Here is an example.

GOOGLE.

How many of you would recognize Google as the largest advertizing medium in the world? How many of you would dare admit Google is the largest advertizing agency in the world?

You know that Google is a Search Engine, right? Well it is WAY MORE THAN THAT!

Cross-sells, upsells, persuasive copy - isn't that all incorporated in Google? yet, how many of you realize that? I'll be honest that I am completely amazed how many people dare argue any time I rise the subject, even at the face of the obvious evidence.

What does this mean to you?

It means that unless you know MARKETING AND SALES, you can't make a dime on the net. Unless you know how to find THE RIGHT PRODUCT AND THE RIGHT MARKET FOR IT you would make at best nickels. That's it!

Here is the sad truth - you either learn what the BIG DOGS know and apply it to your own business on the net, or you never make it. The thing is then, where do you find that KNOWLEDGE?

Here i am gonna keep silent. I am just going to say that most of that knowledge is OVER 100 YEARS OLD! Shocking, right? Well, it is!

PROOF?

How about if I tell you that a fairly large and well known even today ADVERTISING AGENCY was making $2,000,000,000 PER YEAR back in the 1920's using that same knowledge and developing it?

SEARCH for that knowledge yourself, find it, make sure you learn it well, and THEN think really of making money online. Otherwise you are DOOMED!

And this brings me to

3. Reason # 3

This reason is actually the DEADLY MIXTURE OF THE 1ST 2 REASONS ABOVE.

While you would have little to be blamed on, when it comes to Reason 2, Reason 1 is something you should really consider overcoming on your own. This of course is valid, if you r serious about making real money online.

Everything else is just empty talk.

Coping with both problems above, however, is what UNAVOIDABLY would bring you the much sought online riches.

How to get around this? I'll share that a bit later...

People who do business through net somehow exhibit complacency. Some of them have this laid back attitude. Thinking about that I could just sit back, relax and poof I'm earning. But what they really don't know is that is not always the case.

For the exact reasons stated above, making money on the net is so friggin easy! Albeit, more difficult each year, but still so friggin easy.

Yes. It is really easy and often consider as the easiest money making. No doubt about that.

I'm not that an expert in making money on-line. But I'll try to help you.

You need to build up your basic foundation of business before entering this mass market.. if you just want to make money fast and easy there's no doubt it can be done in a day, but for over a long term, the basic principle of marketing must be understand

I think the biggest problem is people lazy to work. Many doesn't understand they have to work hard first so late they can relax and work less while earning more.

Yeah that's the main point, the laziness can be ruined your expectation goal and also mess up the whole foundation of business

making money online just needs proactive thing. we can lot of money using various cpa and affiliate programs

and most people give up before they succeed !!

Great post. I completely agree with your 3 reasons. Too many people are sucked into the 'glamor' of making money passively, but putting up a blog and throwing up adsense and generating passive income.

It takes time, skills, drive and desire to create, test, redo and patience to get a consistent money making point.

yes you must put time into it work hard make money and dont think there is magic built.

You need to get those things out there to make Money finding the magic bullet won't help

I think even though making money online is easy, but there is a steep learning curve for anyone just starting out and being able to overcome that obstacle is essential for one's success.

I never thought that i can make money online.

Great post and all good information there, the problem for most people out there is that there is just too much get rich quick thinking and it just does not exist. Unfortunately there is so much of it and the get rich quick merchants are to be fair very good at their marketing so people often believe it.

Until that is they get tired of spending money and failing and its then when the light comes on and they realise there is work to be done. And a sharp learning curve.

Too many internet marketers "start to do business" and do some random marketing (articles, facebook, whatever...) and expect to see their bank account grow.

Start thinking of what you're doing online as a business and treat it that way...
And keep in mind it takes time to come anywhere near successful...in ANY business online or offline.

Start with asking yourself if you have the right attitude and approach to whatever you're doing.
