Earn Money with Blogger.com ?

Anyone here use Blogger to earn money or do earn money from Blog spot blogs ? They do delete your blogs right and left these days so it's not easy to start a blog there and keep it running unless you do everything as they say. One of my blogs deleted even without breaking any rules I mean I had a blog and made 1000+ posts for 5 days. and it was locked while making then 6th post. I think they do lock your blog if you edit it too many times. (should use preview rather then edit)

I have only used AdSense and Amazon But I have seen people use those content lock stuff.

Do you earn money using blogger ? what methods are the best as to your opinion ?

I am using blogger for 3 years and they didnt created any issue for me yet. I am using infolink and chitika ads for earning and its awsome experiance...

Yes I do have 3+ years old blogs and these are doing fine. They flag only brand new blogs not those old established blogs. I have bunch of old blogspot blogs with Amazon ads and these are fine and some posts have 5+ Amazon ads! Like 5 months day I tried to add 4 Amazon ads to a post and one got blocked and deleted later.

Why not you use AdSense ?

i am using adsense, for blogger com i cant say anything, because i am using adsense on my wordpress site.

I find wordpress more reliable. Blogger does remove blogs in fact it removed an entire blog that I created and uploaded some ten posts on it. It doesn't exist anymore so I got offended and switched to Wordpress. Since then I never looked back at blogger. I think I'm missing out some action and should reconsider Blogger. What do you suggest?

Well none of my blogger blogs were about warez , cracks or copyright materiel. Even content was 100% unique hand written stuff. Why someone would add a DMCA compain ? One blog was about freelance work and other one was about a camera model.

@James : Yes I have moved one only blogger blog with a custom domain to a wordpress a week ago. (one with Godaddy promo codes). One nice thing about blogger is you get indexed faster. Also You are getting traffic from Google News ! So sometimes it might be a good idea to create a blogger blog add some good content and drive its traffic to your main site. You have to be careful about this but it can get you some decent traffic.

Blogger is a Google product so I'm sure it would have all the benefits above the rest. But it was troubling me and you would know how painful it is to learn that all your hardwork has just been trashed. The content I posted there was unique and I didn't paste it anywhere else even after it was deleted.

I like your idea to use blogger to drive traffic to the main site. This would be a good strategy and I think it is worth a try again. But if I get deleted again, I think I'll have to punt a stone at their main office.

Yes they can delete you but you can try it and might worth the risk. Im doing new set of blogs which I made maily as web 2.0 sites for my other main sites. But I'm testing things too. I have add one post per day for 19 days now for one blog. 400 - 700 words in each post and it's doing fine so far. There are several rules now I follow,

1) Unique content 400 - 700 words per post

2) Not more than 2 Affiliate links and both noFollow

3) Don't publish and edit again and again. Make sure all fine using preview button

4) Don't add external links maybe 2 per post nothing more.

5) Better not add links for first 5-7 posts.

6) Check your webmaster tools account and see how it progress

7) Add Atom.xml page to site map and refresh it once in couple of days

8) Add few FB likes, G+ and tweets to each post but not more than 5.

Maybe I'm bit paranoid about this but it could save your blog and make it good link source as well as give you a side income. Here's my blog post about it,

You don't need to have your own custom domain name to monetize blogger. Also custom domain won't save your blog from deletion if their spam bots decided yours is spamming.
