Thread: How I made $1000+ with Single Fiverr Gig

Hello IMT members -

Today I am going to share a little success story of mine which I achieved through Fiverr. Look at the image below and you will easily understand what I am trying to post here



As you can see I have made more than $1000+ with this Gig only. What's more it was achieved within very short period of time. Moral of the story is if you work hard to achieve any goal you can accomplish that. And this is a small example of that feat!

Are you bragging or complaining? If you made $1k, why not make $2k? Or $3K? Or more? What's your point?

Good for you, keep it up and consider adding a video to your GIG, this might help you get more sales.

That's one of the biggest misconception that people have! That is just a myth which is not true.
Browse some of the popular gigs on fiverr and you will see very few of them have videos actually.

That's true wisdom. I almost stopped affiliate marketing, because I first thought it was easy. Years went by, and only gained couple of dollars per month. Searched for multiple affiliate marketing sites to see what's the one for me, and after hard work, I'm finally getting to the point where success is just around the corner..Can't wait! I won't be stopping with just one network, I'm always searching new ones to conquer.

Seems to me that Fiverr is your thing?

And until recently Fiverr was the thing for me .

That's my personal opinion though, you're the Fiverr expert.. I only sold one gig during the 6 years of my life that I spent doing IM/SEO and working full-time as a head of search
Anyways, good for you. It might be a misconception for Fiveer.. Even though, I still believe and IMHO videos DO convert better, at least for me. Again, keep it up.

how many gigs yo have buddy can you share your fiverr page url so that we can got idea what you do and how u did it ??

I will definitely NOT share the gig or fiverr profile for obvious reason

Suggestions: For the people want to make decent money with fiverr - 1)Maintain 100% Gigs rating at any cost 2)Make your buyer happy always.

These 2 are the most important factors in order to get huge success with fiverr which I have learned from my 2 years of experience in Fiverr.

i do have good level at fiverr 2 but i would like to know from your side what factors you do which makes you separate from other gigs provides .. atleast tell how many gigs you having ..

do you promote your gigs ?? do you take paid service of fiverr to promote gigs ?? if yes than is it worth enough ??

Yes I do promote my gigs. And all are free methods.

Your post really inspires, I have been trying to sell through Fiverr gig but I hardly any success I can say I did not have even single sale. I tried to offer link building services, I tried with facebook ads, I tried with offering few other services but no success at all.

I have seen that Fiverr has recently updated their website with new look, I tried to read through many course and guide but even I put my best effort I could not generate any sales through my Fiverr gigs. I have been many of them have made about 1000, 5000 even 7000 sales in last 1 or 2 years for the same services which I am trying to offer. But to establish a reputation is very difficult in Fiverr. Above all, no one has achieved success in just one or two months.

I just wanted to seek your advice, here is some questions I have for you.

1) How many gigs you have started with [ I have read many say that you should start with 20 gigs to start.]
2) What type of services do you offer?
3) In how many days or months you started getting orders?
4) Have you uploaded video to your gig?
5) What is that you did to get traffic and orders to your gigs?

If you could offer your approach and guide on this then I hope it would help many of the marketer here.

Although I agree it can be difficult to get your first sale (rather first review) but with proper promotion you can achieve it. Now I am coming to your question one by one -
1- I never had 20 gigs. But having 20 gigs increases your chance to get order.
2- SEO/Backlink
3- I was lucky enough not to wait for long duration.
4- No.
5- I mainly promoted the gigs on different webmaster forums. Now as I am getting enough sales, I stopped that.

I might ask a question of a newbie, sorry for that You said 20 gigs increases the chance of getting order - do you mean creating 20 gigs of the same thing? Or should each gig offer a different product?

It is better to create different. As you will be able to target different niche of buyers.

Whats the number for the last couple of months? Just interested to get an idea of volumes.

$1000 is 200+ gigs how many months did it take to get to $1000
