.eu Domain issue
Hi all,
i have a .eu Domain which i want to move to another hosting provider. But he told me that the .eu domain i need to transfer by another service, not by him.
Do you know about that anything and can help me?
First time i make a .eu domain transfer
thanks

Hmm I don't see what is the problem. .eu domain has different way of transfer than other TLDs ? Usual way is you pay transfer fee to the new registrar and then start the transfer process. Then take the domain secret from current registrar give submit it to the new registrar. That's it.

yes, i as well was thinking same, but the hoster was telling me that the .eu domain i need to make myself transfer. All other domains was no problem and i got the transfer code from hosting provider

This is the first time I've heard anything like that. Contact another provider and see if he answers the same.

They may not be an authorized registrar for .eu domains. Not all TDLs are available from all registrars.
I leave my domain names with my registrar rather than transferring them to my hosting provider. The one hosting account that came with a 'free' domain name charges me a higher rate for renewals than my registrar.

True. Im prefer to keep domains and hosting in separate places. Also when they offer a domain with hosting they are going to cover the cost of domain and sooner or later we will end up paying more than average price for the domain renewal.
Yes if OP has it at Domain reseller that might be the problem. Also I wonder if OP living within a country EU borders ? I think .eu is basically a ccTLD. So probably you need to be in the area. Like Godaddy won't get you take .us domains in unless you have US address as your contact details.
