    Free Website

Weebly has free websites under their domain extension. These sites are 100% ad free, which was a shocker to me. They also have a very easy drag and drop site building tool which is also free. Weebly allows you to build multiple sites with one account and as many pages as you need with video, html, pictures. It even allows for ecommerce all free. On the dashboard after signing up you will see how easy it is to create your key words, description, Headers for google webmaster tools. Plus each page you create has separate meta tags. I thought that was a nice feature I have not found on other free sites.
Hope this helps someone with either a main site or a landing page (which you can also create within your site). Has blog pages too.

I have 14 sites built through weebly so If someone gets stuck and needs help just let me know. Although you will find the customer support for weebly exceptional!

Yes Weebly is pretty good web 2.0 type site creator. Those who make link pyramids of their money sites use Weebly as one of the top 10 web 2.0 properties for 1tier. It's easy to use and has lots of features. You can make unlimited number of sites there too I think.

    Question RE: blueArrow

Yes. years ago it was only 3 sites available per account but I notice they have changed that. I had been with other free sites to build the link pyramid but found they had so many ads on them my information just got lost.

Can anyone answer this for me (and I guess others with weebly sites should want to know too) does the weebly extension benefit the URL being created in front of it? Does it hurt or does it really not matter.
I am ranking on page 1 of google for my targeted key words with the weebly extension but not sure it would hurt me if I switched from free to paid which would remove the weebly extension.

    Thumbs up free website

Thanks for turning me onto weebly. I will admit I know very little about seo. Weebly has had great customer support for me, no ads on my website and I have had the 2 free sites for over a year now.

There are several free services like Weebly. Like Yola, Jimdo and Moonfruit etc. These sites have even better web site builders and Weebly but lack of some features it has. Webs is another one and they even offer FTP. If you are not happy with site builder you can make your own site and upload it.

Weebly or otherwise Yola or webs are good if you find hard in making website yourself. There drag & drop features helps many to create sites in days. You can also use PayPal to sell services & can use Adsense also to get revenue.

The issue is while in Yola & others... you need a Paid subscription to get a domain pointed for your website (if you wish not to use there subdomain), and higher plans for removing Powered by....

In Weebly.. pointing your domain is available in free account too. You can create 3 websites & can point your domain too if you are registered user. While in Weebly too removing Powered by... you need a Paid subsciption.

Support wise I find all then good. While Weebly Support is fast, yola support is also commendable.

Weebly editor is user friendly than Yola editor. Even though Yola has more features on it. Domain point is one feature I was thinking when I told Weebly has some good points rest of those builders don't have.

Not sure about the ranking, but if you change to a dot com or something else you will lose any Pagerank .

If you are ranking well then I would not change things.

Thank you. I have almost switched several times but for the Dallas Tx. market I have 3 different sites ranking on page one of google under specific keywords. I just needed someone with more knowledge then me to give their opinion. Thank you again.

Weebly is definitely the greatest of all its competitors. It has unlimited bandwidth and space. That's enough for proving its worth to those who understand its importance. I've myself been building websites on Weebly. It definitely has limitations, but compared with other WYSIWYG solutions online , it's par excellence.
