Thread: Ebook

Hi Guys,

I have an eBook that I would like to give away but I don't know how to upload it so that anyone who wants it can download it. Forgive as I am relatively new and trying to figure it out. Can anyone tell me how to go about it.

If you are not trying to capture email addresses it is really pretty simple. It is probably best to put the ebook in a zip folder. Upload the zip folder to your domain either in the root directory or a sub-directory that you create. Then just link to the folder. The visitor's browser will take care of the details.

If you are capturing email addresses to build a list you will need a script to collect the email addresses that creates a 'thank you' screen. Link to the folder from the 'thank you' page.

Or you can upload it to free hosts such as sendspace and offer it easily anywhere
