Thread: Who's Getting the New Macbook Pro With Retina Display?

Im due for a new laptop for realz. But that is a hefty price tag. But so pretty. No Mac hating in this thread!! JK.

Eventhough i don't really need a new laptop, i'm thinking about getting one just because of the retina display but i'm a bit scared of iOS as most of my applications are for Windows.. so maybe i'll use virtualisation as i don't want to miss the new iOS either.

what is so special in the New Macbook Pro With Retina Display?

Do you relly recommend to purchase it?

If you do graphics or editing, it's awesome. I do video stuff on the side. But, the processing power is beafy as well for multithreaded badboy applications running and submitting simultaneously. There is a quadcore i7 version with ssd... If you travel a lot, it's pretty insane power. Also, with the battery life at 7+ hours, thats a coast to coast flight here in the US. Pretty amazing. I may be dropping some money on one this week... wahhh!
