after so many times i never visit this forum... this forum is getting big

I know, I come back every few weeks or so and it just blows up bigger and bigger with more tools for us to use!

I may be a few hours late on this entry into the log, but I am reasonably sure that it is within the last 24 hours that the membership count tripped past the 48,000 mark. Full steam ahead!!

It appears that it was on Monday that the forum membership reached the 51,000 mark! I was out of town until Tuesday evening and did not glance down at the counter until this morning.

It has taken a while to reach the 52,000 mark. My original post in this thread marked the passing of 2,000 members so we have added a full 50,000 since my first post in this thread.

The primary reason that the new plateau has taken this long to reach is due to the change in signup procedure. Going to the invitation format has reduced the number of spam and frivolous posts. Overall it is better for everybody.
Subjectively, I also suspect that the improvement in the world economy has, to some extent, reduced the interest in making money online. When the forum was established there were many people out of work. They were looking for ways to make a living. With more opportunity in the real world some of those searchers are able to find real world jobs and are not as interested in producing online income.
