    Need your Hosting reviews

    Hi
I am looking for a new host for my site, blog and online store. I have been looking at reviews and have heard pretty bad things about Hostgator lately. Mostly that they attract a lot of people but their retention is horrible.

I need a provider that is reliable and fast! At the moment I have my eyes set on inmotionhosting.com they are not the cheapest out there for sure but they seem to have excellent customer service and very fast response times.

    What are you opinions?

What ever you do don't go with Burst.net, the are worst ever hosting.

    I'm currently with theprimehost.com,
I had few issues with them regarding support and some boot attacks, but generally they are good and really fast ports and powerful servers, I think I will stay with them.
On of my issues was with some bots attacking the forum for scraping and/or registering profiles, etc... so it was influencing the server load(still is),
but I found solution to this and if I would be honest it is not they to blame, because they never advertised any DDoS or bot protection with their service.
Anyhow their support is not so good, they have two levels of support, some low quality third world country non skillful workers which don't know shit about shit,
they are just there so they can respond like "we are looking into this matter" or similar, so it is really frustrating like you are talking to some kind of annoying robots,
then when US support guy comes he is solving the problems and he is very good in doing that and very fast.

Other than that they are very good and it is managed service, also you have discounts on yearly subscriptions + always having some 20% discount codes,
so I the end I would recommend them.

I took a look at InMotion and it looks like they could be OK. I scanned the TOS page and there is a little cause for hesitation there. They are a bit general in their guidelines where I would like to see something more specific. The testimonials on the site are, of course, glowing. Have you checked the web for the other side of the story? Until relatively recently I would have given a good testimonial for my first hosting service but things do change. The sig link leads to an article (around 400 words) about my current experience.

Thank you I have been reading terrible reviews from Hostgator but that is a good way to promote your affiliate link. Any one have real experiences to share?

Hostgator is good for what they are for. But for hosting sites that get a ton of traffic where you need special attention, they are bad IMO. i.e. my personal experience on HG dedicated was bad but, for shared they are good and have fast support.
I really dig Liquid Web for dedicated and VPN.
