I am going to use this free web hoster fo my new website.........Is it Good for a text and Image and Image based site?

Well, I usually use 000webhost and they're pretty good. If your looking for ip diversity free hosting is the best choice and it's costless. The downside should be the loading time, that can prevent you from ranking well on google.

If you meant something like a image gallery then a free hosting service wouldn't be the best place to start it.

Why not just get cheap hosting. Then you get a faster loading time = higher SERPs. You can find loads of cheap hosting packages round the internet

I dont think free hosting is good for any professional web masters. But if want to test your skills and test your script then free hosting is fine. But when you are going to run a real site for real visitors then free hosting provider will give you a lot of pain..

Free hosting may just be good if it allows you many services you'll need ! I mean that every hosting company may get a free plan but most of the case it's less more advantageous than the paid one! So i think that instead of wasting time in free one you'd better start with a reliable and safe paid one that may offer you great satisfaction!

I think free hosting can be a good choice but it depends your requirements. I use free hosting for link diversifying. But I never use free hosting for my main money site. Instead use cheap hosting.

FREE means you get what you've paid for. When you don't pay, you won't be eligible to criticize a service fault. If it's a test based personal project where you don't have any stakes attached then you can try a free service otherwise beware.

If you have a business critical website, don't opt a free web hosting.

Hey, everyone has to start somewhere. if you're budget doesn't permit, then start small and continue to upgrade your hosting plans. Free ones aren't bad for feeder type sites that will be static to mix up the IP profile.

I think free hosting is not too good. So, i want to tell you that before taking free hosting, search about the advantages, disadvantages and the loyalty of that free hosting service provider.

imho, free hosting used just for fun, and for experimental sites..
for serious website, use paid hosting..

IMO, Free hosting is only "good" for school projects, for everything else, you should be getting a real host.
You can find some hosting services starting at $3 USD (perhaps a little more) but these will be thousands of time better than any free hosting.

Sometimes the only difference between those ultra cheap hosting and free hosting is you pay something for those cheap hosting. Down sides are all same. Bad uptime, slow support or nothing at all, provider could vanish anytime, No backups.

But there are good free hosting sites and cheap hosting sites. You just need to find the right one. Also you have host the right sites too. Don't expect you can host a forum or big blog or joomla site. Also don't expect too much. If you don't have money to pay for hosting or if you are still new to this and don't want to pay money for hosting then free hosting would be great. Also when you have lots of small static sites and you want to spread them through different geo locations and IPs.

and No faster loading time won't guarantee you higher SERPS. If it's true then everyone will forget about SEO and just rent ultra fast servers.

I started my online money making with free hosting. I had my sites in free hosting services for a long time. I had to move sometimes yes but It's my job to keep my sites up and running so I can earn. So for a while I only spent money for domain names. Even still I use couple of free hosting services where I have some sites hosted for around 5 years now. Small sites which earn 10-50 usd per month.

Some good points here. Free hosting has its uses but not at all sensible for your money site. You do not have control of it and it might disappear or your account might be banned. Cheap hosting is better but very cheap might be a problem as when things are too cheap they might not survive or just provide a shoddy service.

If you are just starting your website just for learning, it's Ok to use FREE hosting. If you are creating website for business purpose ... better to stay away from free hosting services..

I agree with you.Free hosting has many hidden limitations hence cheap hosting providers like 9cubehosting.com would be a better option.

If you want to uplod images or videos, then it is bad idea to start from free hosting. if you really want to get more traffic and great benifits you must be starts from premium hosting.

Free hosting is not good for you if you are a professional web master .

None of free hosting or even cheap hosting providers let you stream videos so yes it's not a good idea but for videos can be uploaded to Youtube and then used for the site.
