[SHARE] List of forbidden brand/trademark for domain name

Some people advice to not use brands in domain name. Yes, is it true but it can’t be helped. However, having domain name that exact match with our keyword is important for SEO purpose. In fact, all of my mini-sites contain brand names in its domain names.

Believe me, not all Company forbid you to use their brand in your domain, especially if your purpose is to promote their product. However, please don’t register domain with the following brands. Based on me and my friend’s experience, these brands are strict about their trade marks.

- LEGO
- Breville
- Amazon
- Kindle
- Epson
- Leapfrog
- Sony
- Apple
