Who has better customer service, Godaddy, Hostgator, or any other?

    Hello Everyone,

Since 2007, I am hosting my websites with Hostgator but also interested to find any if any other host provides better service and customer support. In my view, Godaddy is good for registering domains but for hosting I think hostgator is better. What do you say who has better customer service and support, Hostgator, Godaddy, or any other? I am looking for something better so I will view every advice seriously.

    Thank You

For me ... Godaddy has always been #1 for domains and hostgator for hosting but now-a-days HG makes the customer to wait a lot to get in touch with them.

Unfortunately, the HostGator of today isn't the HG we all loved. The company was sold to a hosting conglomerate. The new owners are not nearly as service oriented as was the old HG. The conglomerate now owns many of the big names in hosting. They have moved the HG hosting accounts from the superb Dallas data center (with huge pipes) to their own facilities. HostGator is still better than some of their other properties but I look for HG service to deteriorate further as the new corporate culture sinks in. I had hosting with another of their acquisitions before that company was sold to the conglomerate. Before the sale I had no complaint with the hosting service but after the sale the quality of the service went down hill and the real cost for the same level of service went up significantly. (If you complained about slow load times you obviously needed their business class hosting at a significantly higher rate.)

I think when we consider customer service they are pretty good because they have strong servers that I don’t see going down too often so it’s a safety for web site but the biggest plus and the thing that makes them better than rest is their price which is so low and affordable. I am currently using their “30word” promo code which gives me 30% discount on all products that I purchase including hosting so I would always suggest going with GoDaddy!

Big names big letdown is what I am use to, so that’s why I never really prefer these, it is always Serveria.com that I have found connection with simply due to their ideal facilities which includes Multiple Gigabit Connections, 32 GB Ram, Daily Backup, 99.99% Uptime and more importantly customer service which is 24/7/365 active which includes social sites, live chats, email and even Skype, it really can’t get better than this type of customer service!
