Thread: Hostgator problem..

From last few days, I am fed-up of hostgator service related to hosting. It takes too much time to load up. I have already filled lots of tickets to them like 8 tickets, but its still not happening.

Is it happening due to plug-ins? Can plug ins create loading problems??

Please do let me know suggestions for this..

I have just opened a Hostgator account and am in the process of moving a few sites from my old account. I checked the same page on both servers at GT Metrix and the page on the Hostgator server opens a full second faster than the original site hosted on Hostmonster. In this case that is a 25% speed improvement.

the more plugins you use the longer it will take to load some plugins take longer than others
hostgator have an online help chat and tbh i have been with them for about 5 years and found them excellent talk it through with technical and they will help you

Did they respond to your tickets ?

Usually this kind of things happen because of plugins. So if you have other sites there and if they work fine and speed then it probably not a server problem.

Why is that ? Did you have a bad experience ? I haven't heard too many negative things about their support unlike Godaddy hosting support.

Yes plugins can increase your loading time. Try removing some.
