I'm willing to share a great adress out here.

I got banned or suspended from many big hosting companies because of a bandwidth matter. Most of the time they didn't even dare to notice me for it. (shared hosting and VPS hosting)

Their commercial offers are clearly overselling their services : "UNLIMITED" -->Joke

I decided to try something new which can fit to my needs.

Several month ago, i joined a brand new company in order to try a web hosting plan.

They offer a free plan which is generous in features and fit great for little micro niche websites. I grab this free plan to run tiny porjects i had in mind ---> Alice in Wonderland Time

Then, I took then an unlimited shared hosting plan after that for 7$ a month during one month. The support team reached me telling that i was using too much bandwidth again (i'm not soft on that matter ) and they proposed me to go for a VPS which is fully unlimited for my activities. They didn't restricted my account so i followed their advices, but i was skeptical....

So i did get 9$ VPS with Unlimited bandwidth. And you know what ? for 9$ i can see in my VPS control panel that i have 5 000 TB of bandwidth !!! In spite of my efforts, i couldn't manage to reach that limit

NO downtime, great support, great bandwidth limit, many features, low cost vps, is all i need from a web hosting provider. I hope they will make you happy also.

I'm glad this is working out for you but theres no way in this gods Green Earth that this would work for me. Are you running just a static page or what 96MB Ram come on cant be to labor intensive at all

As far as I know bandwidth never going to be the issue. CPU resource usage is the problem, always. Did you try Godaddy or Hostgator shared accounts ?

As for VPS I wouldn't go for anything less than 512 RAM. If you want to run Apache and a hosting control panel even a free one like Kloxo then you need at least 250-300 RAM for these things alone. It doesn't matter if bandwidth is 1TB or 100GB problem is how much RAM your sites will use + server resources like CPU load.
