Thread: is that good to use co.cc subdomain?

Hi i am going start a new site with co.cc sub domain and what are the pros and cons of using this? currently i cant afford

for paid domain thats why i have to use this free service.

Well, i will never say you to go for co.cc subdomain. Always use .com or .net domains as it is easy to rank them higher.

paid domain is not that expensive, specially .info, so you should better buy a paid domain. co.cc domains look spammy to me

I think might have Google penalized or something cc.co domains because I couldn't find any indexed pages.

google recently deindexed many .co.cc domains. so using them is just a waste of time

They have been yes, but the reason for it is intriguing Matt Cutts himself has said that these domains have been constantly used to abuse and spam websites. The global consensus shows that many people are actually happy about this. I just don't think its fair on the few that actually use these domains for their intended purpose.

wow!! i just try myself.. its true!! google deindexed co.cc.. can someone tell me why google do this? if spammy issues become the right decision for them, not all site with co.cc doing a spammy thing

How many pages do these sites have indexed in Google ? Even main site ?

Sites work of cause since hosting has nothing to do with Google or they can take down other peoples sites. But they can deindex sites so there won't be traffic from Google.

Dude, I found them on google search. They are indexed. I think google de-indexed only spam sites.

That's what i thought at first, relevant website is for sure not being banned by uncle G

For which keyword phrases did you find those ? Even the site you posted have zero indexed pages.

I can give u a .info domain for free. If you want just let me know.

It really is better to buy a real TLD domain. co.cc doesn't look professional at all.
