Thread: How many domains names do you own ?

I have around 100 domain names. lots of info domains and then .com domains. I have one .org domain, couple of .nets and 2 .us domains.

How many domain names do you have ?

I took a quick look at the hosting account and it looks like about 40. I also have a few sub-domain sites. All but one of my main sites are .coms with a lonely .ws. I do have some .infos that I use as feeder sites to the main sites. I have a couple of hyphenated domain names to get the .coms. The keyword .infos have always worked fine for me.

I have lots of keyword .info domains which I have collected for years. I used to buy expired keyword .infos and but these days it's hard to find those. while ago lot of people believe .info domains can't rank well in search engine. So I could find so many nice dropped .info. But not anymore.

Where do you keep those domains ? Godaddy ? Also you have all those domains in a single hosting account ????

I bought the domains from DownDoggy. They are a WildWestDomains reseller. They were competitive for a long time, but the prices are creeping up and I will look around when I buy more. My keyword tool developer is a domain name reseller and he offers very good prices to his customers.

Right now all of the sites are in one shared hosting account. That will have to change soon because the account has a limit on the number of files allowed, and I am nearing the limit. Most of the sites have a blog and/or another database based CMS so I am not looking forward to moving the sites. Several blogs share one database using different prefixes for the tables, so it will not be as easy as it could be. It is the same for the other CMSs. It will be a new adventure for me.

Well That's a Godaddy reseller. Do you able to use Godaddy promo codes with resellers ?

Better keep your sites hosted in couple of different hosting accounts than same place. Learned this lesson long ago.

I'm not reseller and I use coupons all the time.

Currently i have only 2 sites hosting on different ips and different service providers. I need some advice that i am planning to buy some domain names and hosting. What you will suggest

1. Host Gator
2. Go Daddy
3. Blue Host

And how i can get promo code or coupon. I have read 50percentoff couopen code here for hostgator but unable to find that thread. Can anybody help me in this respect? Thanks in advance.

ahh I see....

I have only 2 .com !! but soon i hope to make a site network and then will buy some more domains. But it will be after few months.

About 98% of them are active, only few of them are at idle.

Well I don't think so. Probably there are plenty of money making sites than those bookmark sites. lol

yup $10 and now i'm feel sorry for that. I think it will be better if i use the money for .com

over 300 at last count
just let a mass of .us names drop also they dont sell so well
some are sites some are parked to sell or develop later

That's lots of domains. renewal price is .us it also little too high. That's why I stay out of those. Bought 2 domains years ago because I couldn't resist buying them ! xD
