Thread: Beware of godaddy coupon

Please be careful to use this coupon, especially ( President ) i used it sometimes ago ..later GoMummy started charging me for Website Tonight subscription which is not included when i ordered the domain.. ....when i called them ..the rep said i have purchase the domain for 1usd via backdoor..(this promotion is Tricking).. early or late they will still charge you like 12usd for that domain..if you are not careful..they might keep charging you for service you don't asked them for....Call them to cancel the website tonight and leave your domain alone.. that's what i do... Please check your account if you have already used this coupon.. call to cancel Website Tonight included...

Usually all 1$ promo codes have this. They include Website Tonight for 2 free months and charge after these 2 months. You can cancel it from their control panel anytime you want. I have canceled it after a month everytime I used 1$ code.

I also read this kinda stories online, however I don't do transactions with them, so I have nothing to worry about

I never had that kind of experience, maybe because I'm using only 20-30% off coupons

It's it's not the scam or anything. They clearly show it in checkout page. Problem is most people don't even bother to read what they have in even page like a checkout page. Also It can be removed from your Godaddy account.

Most of the people didn't read it therefore I shared it to prevent them from getting charged.

Well That's why they get into trouble. Not Godaddy's fault. Just like most of those AdSense publishers who get banned hadn't even read TOS more than once.

Nothing bad about giving a heads up like you did.
