Thread: Problem with www and http - please help

Ok ive got 5 micro niches sites up and running and everytime I register the domain name, add it to hostgator, everytime i do my backlinking, posting on forums etc, I always use htp : // mydomain com.
My question is, am I missing something here, should I have to do a redirect is it or a 404?
In my all in one seo pack in wordpress, it has canonical domains ticked. Im really confused about this, Im wondering if I might be losing traffic. But everytime I check my domain com, or i check ww, mydomain com, or htp:// ww,my domain com, they always go to my original, htp:// mydomain com

if you are using non www for link building then you should 301 redirect www domain (and all www pages) to non www domain, because www is separate domain.

Hi thanks for replying, so what you are saying is, im not using www am i? so I have to do the 301 redirect?

Yes, in your case 301 redirect that www to non www domain.
