After the newest wordpress update 3.5, it automatically made a folder like this. I saw it when I logged into my hosting via ftp today. I hosted 2 sites (2 unique domains) there and both have wordpress 3.5, but only for one site, this type of folder created automatically.

mysite.com.old

Anyone experienced the same thing ?

I just looked at 10+ of my blogs in two hosting accounts and did not see any additional folders in the root directory of the blog. These included blogs in the site root directory, blogs in site sub-directories and blogs in sub-domains.

just now I got to know it's an issue of my hosting which is dream host.

I checked my blogs ( have over 20) and couldn't find any folder like that. It might be related to the update and suppose to be cleaned at end and for some reason hasn't happen.

i have more than 50 sites on wordpresss but not that problem at all. must be something wrong at your host only

It seems that blue host create / backup the old website, You can login via FTP and see whats in it.

It must be a host issue. I don't see this folder on my 15+ blogs

I don't have more ideas over WordPress but as of my knowledge, it is a great CMS to build a website.

i want to know that how to work on wordpress can any one explain me in breif..........
