Thread: My Search Engine Development

Hi please can you help me am in the middle of development for my search engine, You can find it at Moose Search Engine The first thing i want to do is change the name and logo. I am struggerling to come up with a name for my search engine. once i have a name i will buy a domain name for it. Then once all that is done i need someone to help me run it. Like a co-owner, The search engine i designed useing google search software, But i need a e-mail software and news software as well and that's were am stuck, So i need help with coming up with a e-mail and news software that is better then yahoo or google or something along the same lines.

So if you have any suggestions to help me develop my search engine please let me know. And we will try to work together to come up with a new product that one day might just be better then yahoo, bing and even google. That's thinking for the future anyway I think it might need alot of money to be invested intoo it. I just need someone to help me do this as i dont have much money beacuse i am a student. But i think with the right amount of money time and software i just might be able to get it some were.

I have checked the website. It did not look like a search engine to me. Rather I find it similar to web directory.

yes it looks like a web directory beacuse i am still testing stuff. I am going to make it into a web portal to search for jobs, images and web. also maybe add a email software were people can get a free email address. and news from all around the world. I am not a developer but i am trying to develop my search engine. I just need some suggestion on how i can make it better. Oh and i need to think of a name beacuse moose.com is taken.

I have never seen this type of Search Engine, its totally a Directory and, Sorry tosay looks like it is made for Money Making from Google Adsense

still it looks like a directory.

I did a vanity search and got som OK results.

How are you going to differenciate against Bing/Yahoo and Google?
