Biggest down site of Cold fusion is the price. Also it works only on Windows servers. But it has its own faithful community of Developer.

Well the whole Macromedio company was sold to Adobe for 4 Billion USD. So now all Macromedia products are running un Adobe trademark. And They killed the Macromedio Graphic design software which was known as Freehand.

ColdFusion is an application server and a language which is used for developing Internet applications such as dynamical websites. It is same as Microsoft ASP, JSP or PHP. It is basically used for business websites.

It's suposed to be easy to code but we have never worked with it as it requires microsoft licenses for server and such... We like open source so php is the path we took.

coldfusion is a name of forum script, but its is well know as hipotetical nuclear fusion of neutrons in low temperature
