Which script language is best for programming? And which is people using currently?

Go for javascript.
VBscript is only viable in Internet Explorer and if you want to script Windows. (But javascript works there too.)

There is a lot happening in the world of javascritp now days. You've got a ton of libraries and frameworks to work on/in.

I think that JavaScript is for WebSite's Development and Visual Basic Script is for dekstop development. Make your choise depending on what programming you like.

Javascript is used more than VBscript because of the emerging technologies pertaining to web development and web application. Javascript is widely used by programmers because of the software having to be accompanied by a website.

There are hundreds of effects that can be easily created in Javascript so the use of Javascript is the best choice if you are making a site in PHP. In my view, Javascript is the best client side scripting language.

If you want custom code with high security then go for java script. Or if you want global platform along with all then go for vbscript.
