The internet is vast with many sites. Many of those sites were made for people. Would you ever pay someone to design a website for you from scratch? Or would you rather you have full control and make it yourself? I know I will gladly hire a top notch developer since my skills aren't so great yet, but I am learning.
Depends. Making a site isn't always easy, some people can make a site from scratch while many others can't. Some people could just use a wordpress site or some kind of other site making program that will give you a site and you can freely make something with ease. I've used such services in the past and they work fairly well. I would also say that if you can't make your own site, just sign up to a program where you can design your own site from someones service. Much easier and works just as well in my opinion.
