Are you not aware from panda and penguin, If you will follow black hat, Google will slap you later. Go for white hat SEO.

Most of those BH methods doesn't work long term specially if you are building a brand or site with long term goals.

I agreed with you. But I mostly do forums posting, article submission, blog commenting, social bookmarking, press release and directory submission. These are the best and effective techniques of off-page seo for building quality backlinks.

All strategies are good, but one need not to try all. Also I think Link Wheel is not a trusted SEO strategy. Google values more direct one way links to the website instead of creating a link wheel.

Link wheels still work but you have to be carefull not to leave any footprints. These days the best way to do quality link building is creating your own Link Wheel / pyramid with unique content. If you can build good set of 1tier one sites then Google will value too as quality links. Also You have 100% control over the links pointed at your money site.

great list... great diversity, that's what link building is all about, just a thought on the blackhat list... not worth the risk, imagine building a site, trying to brand your product or service, and bam! your gone... off the search engines forever, not worth the risk, you can have great rankings naturally just by following good practices and a little patience!

Or you can get beter result checking trade section of black hat forums. Those guys make super looking infographics banners with link wheels and pyramids and also other techniques. Wonder if their services are that good too.
