Backlink pyramid or link pyramid is one of those popular seo strategies. Basically it deals with creating backlinks in tier format i.e. Tier 1, tier 2 etc. Sites in the tier 1 are linked directly to the main site, Tier 2 sites are linked to the tier 1 sites etc. The linking patterns varies with the type!! link wheel, link magnet or link push..
