Ranking Problems? From #2 to #1? My Advice to rule the SERPs

Hey... I know many SEOs having much problems to beat their competitors.

I had also these kind of problems...
I was ranking on a specific Keyword on #2... I made a lot of Linkbuilding techniques... but nothing works... I was still on #2... also after Powerful Linkbuilding Techniques...

There was no F****g way to beat my competitor which was on #1.

    So ya'll know what?

I'll found a way to beat my competitor...

The SECRET IS: .edu and .gov Backlinks!!! Hahaha... yes!

After some Submissions on unmoderated Forums, Blogs and some Profiles generating... I mooved up to #1.

I never thought that this was the final step to get on #1 on very high comp. Keywords.

How to find places to get a .gov and .edu Backlink?

Its eaaasy... Im using a "URL scrape Software"... but for all people who dont know this software...

    just google this Keyword:

    Code:
    inurl:.edu "YOUR_KEYWORD" "leave a reply"
    or
    inurl:.edu "YOUR_KEYWORD"

    For Scrapebox Users:

    Code:
    inurl:.edu "powered by wordpress"
    or
    inurl:.edu "YOUR_KEYWORD" "powered by wordpress"

Here are some useful Keywords to find some .edu and .gov sites:

Hey Seobunny, thanks for the share.

I had a site that was #2 for a while and I couldn't get to #1 with whatever I was building. I actually even tried using EDU/GOV Wikis and blog comments, but it didn't work for me. Did you create Tier 2 to your EDU/GOV links? Are you focusing on high PR EDU/GOV or it doesn't matter what the PR is?

Anyway, for the site that was #2, I did eventually get to #1 and what I used was contextual links on high PR homepage links plus 200+ tier 2 links per link.

I dont use Scrapebox no more... I found out that google will not qount comment backlinks as an quality backlink! Its only catching the googlebot to crawl your site....
Scrapebox is a good way to get your (new)content indexed fast.

    Here is my Tip:

    - Create a Blogarticle with a backlink
    - bookmark it
    - ping it
    - create rss feed
    - submit rss to different rss aggregators
    - Create an second tier pointing to your blogarticle and same keyword as backlink to your blogarticle
    - bookmark it
    - ping it
    - create rss feed
    - submit rss to different rss aggregators

You can do it also with edu. domains etc.

Also IMT Forum Admin Nemanja prefer edu and Gov Backlinks:

You should do this before you are going top create any other backlinks, this will give you kick start of credibility in googles eyes. After you have managed to get 50-100 .edu and .gov backlinks you can focus to build other type of backlinks as well, but not to aggressive.

This will give you credibility and it is less possible that google will treat your site like some spam site, more .edu & .gov backlinks more and more trust from google...

so bunny after you get the edu/gov list, did you leave the backlinks manually? i mean you go for every page by page manually and give comment OR you use any other tool to ease the work

I could be wrong, but is sounds like Seobunny is creating a links to backup the links and ping, both, and submit to RSS directories, which I can't really see if it is a .gov or .edu domain to get to first position, but first is cool, and sometimes it may be better to have 20 keywords in top five than a couple of numbers one's?

Building links using only forums would fluctuate in ranking a lot but I would advice keep building links regularly, it would improve a lot, you can easily check the movement of SERP by using SerpTrends Firefox Addon....

Hold on here. Seo bunny is 100% correct. But you do not spam .edu or.gov blogs. Search them out, then leave a real comment that is focused to the site, then move on.

Don't leave more then 10 of these every 3 to 7 days. This is a slow and steady. I keep track of where I do leave these links and I'll linklicious them if my comment approves - but only if I'm bored. These types of sites are already frequented by the big g so don't create work for yourself, lol.

I'd prefer one at #1 then 5 on page one. #1 does get half of the traffic for a keyword and the rest is shared.
