Creating a link wheel

Blog commenting using scrapebox is blackhat and Linkwheels using spinning is grey, but using unique content is white hat. The decision is ultimately up to you.
A simple but true explanation from Darkmoon. Moreover, blog commenting by scrapebox and link wheel isn't as effective as when they're appear for the first time. Don't waste your time guys! Hunt quality backlink only :)
Overall, I'd say that's about grey haha
Cool Thnaks. I would agree the scrapebox is not the fantastic shortcut to No 1 rankings or thousands of backlinks that it is made out to be and to make a decent link wheel taks a long time and a lot of effort and I can bet you Google are working on a way of beating them.
So if you spent the time and effort you were going to spend on making a link wheel, spinning that article or posting 10,000 comments that will most likely not get approved on creating unique content you would be in a better off....
But its not that easy is it chaps...
Also note, that commenting using things like scrapebox generally just gets you a comment thrown automatically into the spam box. If you're lucky and it doesn't instantly end up in spam, it's highly unlikely the site owner will approve. Only on those rare site where no one is monitoring the comments do these type of comments actually get through with any regularity.
Have a great 2012
Agreed on how important it is to manually comment rather than use the mass commenting feature in Scrapebox.
I use Scrapebox as a research tool. Then I write my blog comments manually and make sure they're relevant and add lots of value. Scrapebox is an incredible tool, but like any tool, in the wrong hands it can be used for extremely black hat sorts of activities.
Everything is done manually and less spamming will be considered as white, and others will be gray, or black :)
Forum posting out of niche is the only white hat really. Coz you are commenting and giving actual value to a forum in return for a link or two. Spinning and link wheels are actually seen as black hat (as far as some I have spoken to have told me.) IMHO of course :)
Quality is key, I would much rather have 50 good quality backlinks from websites that are in my niche than 500 totally random links. The exception to that is social bookmark sites which in my opinion are always good to have if like in IMT and other tools you can spin your bookmark title and description.
