For building relevant links what do you do?

How do you search them in Google, do you use blog, forums or more than these?

You can find good sources for link building manually and automatically
1. Manual search : Use Google's different tabs like 'blogs', 'discussions' etc to find blogs and forums
2. You can use 'Keyword Country' to find quality sources for link building in your niche

There are so many search queries to find a relevant link in google.

Its very simple search with the keyword to whom you are targeting to rank on the search engine.

Put the term in google with "powered by wordpress" would find related wordpress blog you can also use "top commentators" this way you can get those blogs which allow commenting.

Depending on your niche, there are always a lot of avenues you can use to build relevant links. There is blog commenting, and I think Wordpress can actually find blogs in its network that are similar to yours, where you can then add a quality comment and you would be able to get links from that. There are forums, and even though they might be nofollow, they can still boost your site a little. Having a healthy mix of dofollow and nofollow is always good for a site.

This is definitely a case where Google is your friend. Log everything in Excel (or some other spreadsheet) as you go.
