Thread: Buying working websites for backlinks

I have been using market samurai for looking at my competitors link profile and one of the biggest ones seems to be buying websites to add link content to. Is this a good method?

I know you can buy high pr expired domains but I have found this not to be so good as once you change the pages and content the pr drops back to N/A.

But how would you go about buying websites that have pr and are still working. I'd think the complications of transferring it would be difficult.

I have never moved a site, just rebuilt on an other server, but the process is well documented and does not sound too hard. (There was even a post recently outlining the procedure.) If both accounts are cpanel accounts it is an advantage.

My competitors are doing this for ages also.
It can be done with expired, aged and keyword rich domains and if you do it right it won't lose PR in 80% of the cases, it can even get bigger PR.
Just add some content, change who is info or make it private and build some backlinks here and there nothing too much and you should have some quality link kick back for your website from these aged domains.

I thought about doing that too. I guess it would be a matter of finding a good domain for cheap. I haven't had the time to mess around with it, but I've been meaning to.
