Do you think it is a good idea to spend time and effort (and money?) building backlinks to individual webpages or is it better to let links build naturally?
If someone were linking to information on your site they would link to the specific page where the information could be found, not the site home page. Therefore a natural looking link profile would have links to internal pages.
